Description
St Luke's Church, built in 1845 by R Griffiths, is a red brick church in the Norman style, featuring yellow brick dressings and a plain tile roof. The building consists of a nave and chancel combined, along with a semi-circular apse topped with a semi-conical roof, and a north vestry. A timber south porch adds to its character. At the west end of the nave, there is a square stone belfry with round-arched openings and a pyramidal roof. The nave is adorned with 2-light round-headed windows, flat buttresses with set-offs, and a yellow brick corbel table. The church has recently been converted into a dwelling, and the vestry has been extended.
