Spa. C18-C19. Brick with stone slab roof. Small brick chamber in side of slope largely covered by circular embankment, with stone steps each side. Simple entrance in outer wall with lintel formed from stone roof slab, and iron rail gate. INTERIOR: stone basin against rear wall. From the back of the spa, a well is accessed from the flat platform above and behind the chamber. The mineral spring is said to have enjoyed local vogue during the C18 and C19, and was in use until 1939.
