Description

7 and 9 Havelock Road are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with Welsh slate roofs. The buildings are three storeys high and feature a six-window range. Each house has a symmetrical layout with a central entrance that includes a panelled door with an overlight in a moulded case, flanked by shallow canted bay windows. The upper windows are 16-pane sash windows with flat-arched painted heads, while the attic storey has 8-pane sash windows. A continuous verandah porch with a lean-to roof is supported by latticed hollow cast-iron columns. There are rear wall stacks.
