GV II Conduit head. c1870. Cast-iron. Short fluted shaft with domed cap, with lion's head and inscription "Waste not, want not". The conduit is one of ten established in the town by the Shrewsbury Water Company to supply water from the Conduit Head at Nobold (qv).
