Description
This is a pair of memorials dedicated to members of the Jones family, located approximately 30 meters north-west of the north aisle of the Church of St. Oswald. The memorials are low pedimented pedestal tombs, dating from around 1815 and 1833. They are made of sandstone and are square in shape, tapering outwards with wide overhanging pediments on each side. The inscriptions on the eastern monument date from 1802 to 1815, while those on the western monument range from 1833 to 1854, all presented in Roman numerals.
