Description
This is a hand pump and walled enclosure located approximately 20 metres to the north-east of the Church of the Holy Trinity. It dates from the early 19th century. The hand pump is made of cast iron and stands about 1500mm high. It features an enlarged fluted head that is moulded at both the top and bottom, along with a long double-curved handle. The enclosure is constructed from stone, has a low wall with pitched coping, and includes a large opening at the front.
