Description

This is a pair of shops dating from the early 19th century, situated on the south side of Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury. The building is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof. It is four storeys high and has a four-window front. The ground floor has been altered with the insertion of shop fronts. The original sash windows above retain 12 panes and are topped with flat-arched stucco surrounds. Two windows are blind, located centrally on the second and third floors. A moulded wooden eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and a central axial stack is present.
