Description

This is a row of three cottages located at the rear of numbers 58 and 59 on Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury. They date back to the early 17th century and are currently used as stores. The cottages are timber-framed with brick infill and have a plain tiled roof. They are single-storey with attic dormers, and each cottage likely originally had a two-unit plan. The upper section of the framing is still visible, featuring square panelling and some arched bracing. The doors and windows have simple segmental arches, although many of them are now blocked.
