Description

This milestone, erected between 1826 and 1827, is located on Thomas Telford's Holyhead Road in West Felton. It is made of limestone, which may have been painted at a later date, and features a slightly recessed cast-iron plate. The inscription on the milestone reads "HOLY-/ HEAD / 94-M / SALOP / 12M-6F."
