Description

The wall and gate piers at the south and east sides of the stable yard at Sandford Hall are likely from the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with sandstone coping. The gate piers on the south side feature rusticated brickwork and stone capping topped with ball finials. The pier at the north-east corner is simpler, with a pyramidal cap and an urn finial. This wall serves as the boundary for the stable yard at Sandford Hall.
