Description
Calcot Farmhouse is a farmhouse that underwent early 19th century refronting of a 17th century building, with later additions and alterations. It features red brick construction with timber framed square panelling visible on the left gable end. The slate roof has an external stone end stack with a red brick shaft on the left and an internal brick end stack on the right. The building is in an L-plan, consisting of a main range and what appears to be a 19th century stone range to the rear on the left. It has two storeys and a dentilled eaves cornice. The front has three windows, with 19th century multi-paned casements on the first floor and 20th century casements with 19th century segmental heads flanking a central gabled brick porch that features a late 20th century neo-Georgian door.
