Description
Parsonage Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the early 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill, and the south front is faced in brick. The roof is made of sandstone slate and has brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan that is roughly aligned east to west, with projecting wings on the south side. It stands two storeys high. The south elevation has a window arrangement of 1:3:1, with glazing bar sashes that have cambered heads, and there is a brick plat band. Each gable has thin horizontal slits with three nesting holes. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and is beneath a gabled early 20th-century porch. The north elevation reveals exposed timber-framing.
