Description
Thatched Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with later alterations and extensions. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster infill and a thatched roof, complemented by a large external sandstone stack and a brick chimney. The building has a rectangular three-bay plan oriented east-north-east to west-south-west and consists of one storey with an attic.
On the south elevation, there is a dormer eyebrow with a two-light late 20th-century casement window positioned to the left of the center. The ground floor includes contemporary two- and three-light casement windows. To the right side, there is a rendered late 20th-century lean-to, while a porch is located to the left of the center. At the rear, there is a late 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed extension. The interior has not been inspected.
