Description
The Pritchard monument is a pedestal tomb located about one yard southeast of the junction of the chancel and south aisle of the Church of St Michael. It was created in 1841 by Yates of Hereford and is made of sandstone ashlar. The monument features a moulded base, corner pilasters with recessed cusped daggers, a moulded cornice, and a double curved pyramidical capping that rises to a moulded string and a further pyramid. The inscription commemorates Joseph Pritchard, who died in 1841.
