OSWESTRY RURAL C.P. WOODHILL Stables attached to north-east side of Woodhill

Stables, now part offices. Mid-C18, partly re-modelled mid-C19. Red brick with uncoursed rubble to right return and rear, graded slate roof. 2 levels; toothed eaves cornice to 2-bay wings flanking central slightly projecting pediment with wooden modillioned frieze; C19 round-arched casements with grey brick heads to first floor of wings and to outer bays on ground floor, stable doors to inner bays; pediment has C20 sliding doors inserted in blocked twin segmental arch and blind roundel above; C19 round-arched cupola to ridge has miniature lead spire crowned by weathervane. Included for group value.
