Description
This is a house located at 13 The Hurst in Cleobury Mortimer, dating from the 18th century with an earlier core. The front bay is made of brick and painted, while the rear bay is constructed from stone rubble. The roof is mostly gabled with old tiles and has a part hipped section, featuring a parapet at the front. There are brick integral chimneys with 19th-century rebuilt shafts on the left-hand side wall.
The street-facing side has a three-storey, single-window range with ashlar lintels that have projecting keystones and moulded caps. The lower floors feature ten-over-ten sash windows, while the second floor has wooden casements with top-lights. The entrance consists of a five-panelled, part-glazed door set in a plain pilastered doorcase with a plain lintel. There is also a wooden casement on the right-hand side wall. At the rear gable, there is a first-floor casement with a brick segmental arch and an attic casement. The interior has not been inspected.
