Description

This is a three-storey and cellar house, now a shop, dating to 1740. It is located on Mill Street, Ludlow. The house is constructed of stucco with a plain tile roof, featuring a gable parapet on the right-hand side and a common brick stack. The front has a four-window arrangement, with 6/6 sash windows that have cambered heads. Horizontal bands are present between the floors, and a moulded stone coping defines the parapet. The right-hand entrance features a six-panel door within a plain surround, topped by a traceried fanlight and a moulded hood supported by reeded pilasters. A 20th-century shopfront is present, incorporating a traceried clerestory with a cambered head, situated between fluted pilasters. A rainwater head is dated 1740.
