Description

Woodhouse Fountain is a drinking fountain located in Ludlow. It was made by Glenfield & Kennedy Ltd in Kilmarnock and is known as the "Hygienic Fountain." The fountain stands approximately 8 feet high and is four-sided, featuring basins and spigots that are adorned with plates displaying lions' heads. At the top, there is a finial decorated with a trident and two entwined dolphins. The fountain was presented by George Woodhouse, who was the Mayor of Ludlow in 1908.
