Gamehouse or ash-house. Probably mid-to late C17. Squared and dressed sandstone blocks on chamfered plinth; polygonal slate roof with iron weathervane. Polygonal plan. Single storey with moulded eaves cornice. Entrance in south-west side through plank door with pointed strap hinges and large stone lintel. Single tall window with similar lintel to north-east side, possibly formerly a doorway. Blocked ventholes. Interior. Light spar across the diameter at wall-plate level possibly formerly for hanging game on. The use of this small building is the subject of speculation. Shelvock Farmhouse is not included in this list.
