Description

The railings, piers, and gate to the South Lodge of Downton Hall date from the 18th and 19th centuries. They feature ashlar piers that have decorative bands and capitals, along with railings topped with urn finials on a coped dwarf wall. The gate is made of cast iron and includes piers and a wicket gate from the 19th century.
