Description

This milestone, located approximately 230 metres north-west of the junction of the A489 with the B4383, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of white painted stone with a black base and black lettering. The milestone has a rounded top and features the inscriptions "MILES" radially at the top, along with "CH STOKE 5½", "M BROOK 8¼", and "C ARMS 9".
