Description
Nos 19 to 21 on Barrow Street are early 18th century buildings made of red brick. They stand three storeys tall with an attic and feature seven flat-headed windows, which have plain keyblocks; only No 20 retains its glazing bars. The center of the facade includes a simple double-fronted shop window from the early 19th century, with a door framed in architrave, while the sides have later shop fronts. The building has an early 19th century parapet with brick coping and four early 19th century moulded wood dormers. The quoins are defaced. Inside No 20, there is an 18th century staircase. Nos 16 to 22 form a group with these buildings.
