The centre has early C19 simple double-fronted shop window with door in architrave; later shop fronts at sides; early C19 parapet with brick coping; 4 early C19 moulded wood dormers; defaced quoins. C18 staircase to No 20. Nos 16 to 22 (consec) form a group
