Description

Nos 47 and 49 on High Street are early 19th-century buildings. They stand three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The facade features four windows, each with stone-carved lintels that have keystones, and hung sashes with glazing bars. There are bands at the cills, and one window is blocked on two floors. The ground floor includes two shop fronts with plain pilasters. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 29 to 35 (odd), 35A, 37 to 69 (odd), and 73 to 93 (odd), with Nos 37 to 41 (odd) noted for local interest.
