Description

Nos 59 and 61 on High Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall, constructed of brick with a pantile roof and a brick eaves cornice. The façade features four windows with sliding sashes that do not have glazing bars. The ground floor includes a continuous fascia and two plain pilasters supporting the shop front, which has two windows for No 59 and one window for No 61. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 29 to 35 (odd), 35A, 37 to 69 (odd), and 73 to 93 (odd), with Nos 37 to 41 (odd) noted for local interest.
