Description

The Gables, located at 58 High Street, is an early 19th-century building. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of brick with a stone plinth. The façade features two windows with rusticated lintels and keystones, and hung sashes that include glazing bars. The entrance is distinguished by engaged fluted Tuscan columns and a plain entablature. The door consists of four panels with panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight made up of four round-headed lights. Additionally, there is one window on the ground floor and a round-arched passage entry to the left.
