Description

56 High Street is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick. The façade features two windows with carved painted lintels that have keystones and large glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two canted bay windows. The ground floor includes a shop front that is framed by narrow pilasters, along with a fascia and cornice above. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 16 to 46 (even), 46A, 48 to 64 (even), 64A, and 66 to 100 (even).
