Description

Nos 6 and 8 on South Street are 18th-century buildings made of red brick with grey headers. They feature a string course and a brick eaves cornice, topped with an old tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have three sash windows with glazing bars. There is a small shop front with a canted 19th-century bay that has late 19th-century glazing, all under a cornice with a stuccoed base. Flanking the shop front are two doors set in moulded architraves. Nos 6, 8, 14, and 16 are part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 13 (odd).
