Description

This is an 18th-century building located on Church Street. It is constructed with a stuccoed facade, designed to resemble masonry, with grooved detailing. A string course runs along the building at the first floor level. The roof is tiled, with a large axial stack positioned above the doorway. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. These windows are sash windows, with some original glazing bars remaining. The doorways are topped with pediments; the pediment for number 4 is a replacement. The doorways also feature moulded architraves and pilasters. Numbers 1 to 11 (odd), the Rectory, Numbers 2 and 4, Numbers 10 to 14 (even), form a group with the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, along with the memorials, table tombs and walls within the Old Churchyard. Numbers 1 and 3 are buildings of local interest.
