Description
This is an 18th-century timber-framed building that was refronted with brick, now painted. It has a tiled roof and a dormer window in the attic. The building is two storeys high and has three windows with casement frames. The front door has a flat hood supported by brackets and is a door of six fielded panels, with the two upper panels glazed. The east front features four brick pilasters, and timber framing is exposed in the gable end. The building is part of a group that includes the Rectory, other properties on Church Street, and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, along with memorials, table tombs, and walls within the Old Churchyard. Buildings at Nos. 1 and 3 are of local interest.
