Description

Number 24 on Barrow Street is an early 19th-century building, with its core likely dating back to the 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has two storeys. The façade features two three-light wooden mullioned casement windows, along with shallow canted bay windows on the ground floor that include glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wooden doorcase that frames a six-fielded panel door, which has a later gabled hood above it. The building also has dentilled eaves and is topped with old tiles. It is included in a group listing with numbers 24 to 29, which together form a cohesive architectural group.
