Description

This milestone, located approximately 90 metres to the north-east of Dudgeley House, is likely from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of grey sandstone ashlar and was formerly painted. The top of the milestone is segmental in shape. It is inscribed with "SALOP" around the top and the number "11". There is an additional inscription, "Church Stretton/2", which was illegible at the time of the survey in October 1985. Dudgeley House itself is not included in this listing.
