WROXETER CP DONNINGTON Former cottage approximately 10 metres to north west of Donnington House

GV II Cottage, now store. Late C17. Timber-framed with painted brick nogging, partly rebuilt and extended in painted brick; plain tile roof. One framed bay. One storey. Integral brick end stack to right; weathervane to left.

Framing: square panels, three from sole-plate to wall-plate. Glazing bar sash to left, small C20 casement to right; boarded door off-centre to right. Small outshut with catslide roof to right. Collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts and V-struts exposed on left-hand gable end. Late C19 two storey brick addition set back to right with dentil brick eaves cornice and two boarded doors to front.

Interior of cottage: collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts adjacent to stack; large open fireplace; newel staircase to rear of fireplace. Included for group value. C20 garage adjoining at north east corner is not included.
