Description

Wroxeter Grange is a house dated 1690, with alterations from the mid- to late 19th century and additions from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from rendered and painted brick, topped with plain tile roofs, and has an irregular L-shaped plan. The building is two storeys high, with an attic, featuring two gabled full dormers that have 19th-century two-light wooden casements. At the rear, there are two lateral brick stacks with paired square shafts.

The front of the house has three windows, with a projecting center that displays a datestone in the gable reading "1690." The first floor has 19th-century two-light wooden casements with louvred shutters, while the ground floor includes a 20th-century lean-to on the right with a four-light bow window and 20th-century French casements to the left.

To the right, there is a one-storey 19th-century outbuilding that has a 20th-century casement window at the front. The left-hand return front features an early to mid-19th-century addition, characterized by a toothed brick eaves cornice, an integral brick end stack, two first-floor two-light casements, and a six-panelled door with flush-panelled reveals, framed by reeded pilasters supporting a frieze and cornice.

At the rear, there is an early to mid-19th-century service wing, which also has a toothed brick eaves cornice, an external brick end stack to the left, a mix of 19th- and 20th-century windows, and a pair of large boarded coach house doors set under a segmental arch to the left.
