MARKET DRAYTON C.P. CHURCH STREET (south- SJ 6634-6734 east side) 13/36 Sandbrook memorial approx. 17 metres to north-east of chancel of Church of Saint Mary

Chest tomb. Dated 1835. Grey sandstone ashlar. Greek Revival sarcophagus type. Chamfered plinth, battered end panels with antefixae- section top, and central block with shallow chamfered top. Raised side panels with husk festoons beneath: South panel inscribed in memory of William Sandbrook (d. 8 February 1835) and north panel to Hannah Sandbrook,"relict" of William Sandbrook (d. 23 October 1858). Post-dated inscriptions to further members of the family on the top.
