Description
The Parry Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 19 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St George. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, sunken panels, a moulded cornice, and a concave capping that originally supported a globe finial, which was dislodged at the time of the last survey in October 1984. The memorial commemorates John Parry, who died in 1843, and Ann Parry, who died in 1834.
