Description
The Globe Inn is an inn dating from the late 18th century, located on Market Street in Ludlow. It is constructed of painted brick and has three storeys plus a cellar. The building features a three-window range, with a central canted bay that includes 2/2, 8/8, and 2/2 sash windows. To the left of the bay, there is a blocked opening, while to the right, a 6/6 sash window is set under a segmental arch. Above, there are three 3/6 sash windows.
To the left, a passage leads to the rear and contains plank doors, exposed ceiling beams, timber-framing, wall plates, and a post. To the right of the passage, there is a canted half-glazed door beneath a moulded flat hood supported by consoles, flanked by a 6/6 sash window on the left and an 8/8 sash window on the right.
