Description
The Fradley Arms Hotel is a late 18th-century building that originally served as a house and is now an inn. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof with raised verges and brick integral end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the main range oriented north-east to south-west and facing north-west.
It stands three storeys tall, with the second floor having reduced proportions. The facade consists of three bays, showcasing 18th-century window surrounds with gauged brick heads. The ground floor has fixed light glazing bar windows, while the first floor features four-pane sash windows with horns, and the second floor has eight-pane sash windows. The central entrance includes a door and fanlight with radiating glazing bars, framed by a wooden doorcase with panelled pilasters and a dentilled frieze. At the rear, there is a wing that contains two 18th-century glazing bar sashes with segmental heads.
