Description
The Croft is a house that originated in the 17th century but was largely rebuilt in the 18th century. It features painted brick that has replaced earlier timber framing, and it has a plain tile roof with raised verges and a brick ridge stack. The building has a three-framed bay baffle-entry plan, aligned north-south and facing west. It is one storey high with an attic and has three windows with casements and gabled dormers. There is a door to the left of the center, which is sheltered by a gabled porch, and fragments of timber framing can be seen immediately to the right of the door. The interior has not been inspected but may be of interest. The building is included for its group value.
