Description

The Ship Inn is an inn dating from the late 18th century, possibly earlier. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high with a cellar and has a two-bay, two-span layout. On the left side, there is a 19th-century single-storey rectangular timber bay with leaded casements, and in the centre, there is a timber enclosed porch with a six-panel door. To the right, there is a 18th-century three-light segmental casement. Above this, there are two 18th-century two-light casements. The roof is steeply pitched and has flanking chimneystacks.
