4/128 Stables approximately - 20m north-east of The White House

Stables. Probably late C17. Weatherboarded timber frame on rubblestone plinth with gables partly re-built in red brick, corrugated iron roof. South side has one boarded and one stable door to centre with ventilated opening to right. Interior: framing, 2 rectangular panels with straight tension braces; inserted loft, single-purlin roof in 2 bays, with central Queen post truss and straight windbraces. Mid-C19 stable boxes to left on ground floor.
