Description

Cruckmeole Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It was altered and had its eaves raised in the early 19th century, with further additions and changes made later. The building is constructed of reddish-brown brick, which is now covered in roughcast, and features a slate roof with wide, spreading eaves and verges, along with integral end stacks. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys plus a gable-lit attic. There are plat bands above the ground and first-floor windows, which comprise a three-window front, all featuring 16-paned glazing bar sashes. The central entrance includes a plain four-panel door and a rectangular overlight.
