Description

Milestone located at NGR SO 3246 9695. This milestone dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone, which was formerly painted. It has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The inscription is partly illegible, but the bottom reads "BPs CASTLE 53/4/C. STOKE 5½". Although the stone has been dislodged, it appears to remain in its original position.
