Description
This is a milestone from the early 19th century located on the south side of the A489 in Rhiston. It is made of limestone and still shows some traces of paint. The milestone has a rectangular section with a curved top. The inscription is very faint and nearly unreadable, but it appears to say "TO/LONDON 166/BPs CASTLE 6/NEWTOWN 10".
