Description

This headstone, located approximately 9 metres south of the chancel of the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is made of grey sandstone and features an interesting architectural design. The headstone consists of a pair of fluted Doric pilasters that support sections of an entablature and an open segmental pediment.
