Description

This headstone, located approximately 18 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, dates from around 1674. It is made of marlstone and features a quatrefoil inscription panel with a raised border. The panel is flanked by Ionic pilasters that support an entablature and a scrolled head. The inscription is now partly illegible but includes the date 1674.
