Description

This headstone, located approximately 12 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, dates from around 1674 and is made of marlstone. It features a small stone design with a scrolled head that encloses a cherub's face. The headstone has a raised lozenge-shaped inscription panel, which is surrounded by drapery and flanked by Ionic pilasters that support an entablature. Although the inscription is mostly illegible, it does include the date 1674.
