Description

The town walls in Ludlow extend westwards from the site of Mill Street Gate for approximately 100 meters. These walls date back to the 13th century and are constructed of stone rubble on bedrock, standing between 3 to 5 meters high. An outbuilding behind Maryvale House on Mill Street is built against the wall. At the western end, there is a D-shaped bastion.
