Description

The late 18th-century houses at 28 and 29 Mill Street, Ludlow, are a two-unit building of three storeys and a cellar. The ground floor is roughcast, while the upper floors are stuccoed, and the roof is covered with plain tiles, featuring a central brick ridge stack. The facade has a two-window arrangement. The upper floors contain tripartite windows with glazing bars; the ground floor has a C20 tripartite window to the right and a C20 plank door in a beaded doorcase to the left. To the right of the entrance door is an original 18th-century six-panel door with a multi-pane overlight, set within a moulded doorcase which is topped by a moulded, flat hood on reeded pilasters. The windows in the original section have central metal casements in moulded frames.
