Description
These are two houses built in the early 18th century. The walls are of coursed rubble, with a plain tile roof and a brick stack to the rear and left gable. The houses are two storeys and have an attic, with a five-window front. They have late 19th-century cross windows with casements and small panes of glass, set under stucco lintels. A horizontal band runs along the first floor level. There are three late 19th-century gable dormers, each with a two-light casement window. Number 10 has a 20th-century plank door with a glazed overlight flanked by cross windows. Number 11 is narrower, with a plain overlight and a smaller cross window to the left, all set under stucco lintels matching the storey band. The left gable has two bricked-up openings, while the right gable reveals roughcast remains of a former terrace of cottages. At the rear, the construction is mainly late 19th-century brick, with a stone wing to number 11 featuring a cross window in the gable and a late 19th-century brick corner stack.
