Description

Nos. 7 and 8 Shoplatch are a pair of possibly purpose-built shops from the early 19th century. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a plain tiled roof. The buildings rise to three storeys and have a three-window range. The left-hand unit has a late 20th-century shop front, while the right-hand unit displays a late 19th-century shop front, which includes moulded console brackets supporting the fascia. Above the shop fronts, there are 12-pane sash windows, with 9 panes in the attic storey, all featuring single ring cambered heads.
